Senior QA Engineer / Windows

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will put yourself in the position of our customers and think carefully about and advocate for all relevant aspects of product quality. You will have the opportunity to work with an engineering organization where everyone writes tests and thinks about our products in terms of not only what to make the code do but how to make that code testable. Your primary focus will be to channel that energy into effective test design, implementation, and maintenance. From the details of an automation framework, to managing and utilizing a multi-hundred machine lab, to the creation and review of test plans for internal and customer use, at Permabit you can do it all. Requirements
- 5+ years experience
- Familiarity with Windows environments
- Experience working on challenging large-scale software engineering projects
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Highly motivated and self driven
- Clear and precise communications skills
Desirable Experience
- Experience with Windows driver development
- Experience working with storage systems and/or SSD devices
- Some or all of C/C++, Perl, Java, and Python
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments
- Experience with VBScript and/or Powershell
- Performance measurement and analysis
