Vice President OEM Operations

Permabit Albireo software massively improves performance and efficiency of data creation, transmission and storage. Solutions built with Albireo are being delivered by leading hardware, software and service providers.
We are growing and currently seeking a Vice President of OEM Operations to drive, inspire and work alongside our business development and program management groups. The VP OEM Operations is responsible for revenue generation, OEM adoption and commercialization of multiple simultaneous products under development. The VP OEM Operations will lead and direct OEM programs per the Product Life Cycle/Roadmap from program approval through volume production. The VP OEM Operations will have primary named account responsibility and will lead Permabit’s revenue growth and customer lifecycle management.
The executive will work closely with the CEO and team members in business development, engineering and strategy to drive forward our mission to bring a robust technology to our partners.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a successful track record in securing customers and partners and cultivating those relationships, driving success to the customer and broadening our footprint with every partner.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for overall commercial success of all partners.
- Named account responsibility.
- Conduct activities with sense of urgency and with efficiency.
- Lead implementation and on-boarding of customers.
- Generate and grow revenue to meet/exceed company goals.
- Grow team of effective, high performing individuals.
- Engage deeply with key constituents and team members; challenge, support and develop team.
- Track programs against schedules, budget and against phase review objectives.
- Own success of BD and program management team; be a partner and stakeholder at all times.
- Penetrate named accounts (Amazon, Citrix, VMware…) and secure licenses with leadership companies in flash, virtualization caching, cloud, SOHO/SMB Storage and data protection.
Requirements
- Hands-on, high energy leader
- Confident decision maker; efficient and urgent in relation to assessment of prospects, customers, peers and team
- Successful experience in an entrepreneurial, growth-stage technology environment of less than 100 employees
- Strong operations background with P&L responsibility
- Success in scaling organizational and functional processes related to client engagement management
- Exceptional manager – dedicated, committed to the company and team’s goals
- 8+ years experience in a high-technology company
- Proven track record of successfully managing the life cycle of multiple customers
- Ability to travel 40% of time
