About the Speakers:

George Crump, President and Senior Analyst at Storage Switzerland

Storage Switzerland is an IT analyst firm focused on the storage and virtualization market segments.  With 25 years of experience designing storage solutions for data centers across the US, George has seen the birth of such technologies as RAID, NAS and SAN.  Prior to founding Storage Switzerland he was CTO at one the nations largest storage integrators where he was in charge of technology testing, integration and product selection.

Gary Cooke – CommVault, Information and Access Management, Archive Specialist

Gary’s background consists of over 20 years of experience in Information Technology.  Much of his career was spent as Manager for several large Financial Services/Insurance corporations, where he was responsible for their messaging infrastructures and support.  These corporations had up to 50,000 worldwide and 30,000 North American employees.  He worked closely with the Corporate Legal, Human Resources, and Internal Audit teams regarding E–Discovery and litigation readiness related issues.  Gary joined CommVault most recently from EMC Corporation.  At EMC, he was an Archiving Specialist responsible for all pre–sales activities around the EmailXtender archiving product.  At CommVault, he works directly with customers to develop cross–functional teams and processes to support litigation and FRCP related challenges.

Mike Ivanov, VP Marketing, Permabit Technology Corporation

Mike is responsible for Permabit’s product marketing execution, new business development, and overall marketing strategy to help drive sales for the company.  He has over 15 years of experience in the storage management industry, including leading CommVault Systems’ Archive Center of Excellence, VP of product marketing for Mimosa Systems, and senior management roles in product management and marketing for Veritas Software.
