Permabit Albireo Data Optimization Software SDK is a portable software library that massively improves performance and efficiency of data creation, transmission and storage. Solutions built with Albireo are being delivered by leading hardware, software and service providers.

Permabit Albireo Virtual Data Optimizer (VDO) is a complete data efficiency application including data deduplication, compression and indirection layer, for Linux, enabling OEMs to continue leveraging all of their solutions’ existing features, including existing Linux file systems, virtualization features, and data protection capabilities.
