CAMBRIDGE, Mass – September 12, 2011— Permabit Technology Corporation, the leader in the development and delivery of OEM embedded Data Optimized Storage, today announced an expanded Albireo API enabling “Dedupe Everywhere.” This latest evolution of Permabit’s award-winning Albireo software enables data to be deduped across the enterprise IT stack, throughout all storage tiers, and across networks. This includes the application, database and operating system layers and across all storage tiers including cloud and backup. Dedupe Everywhere means that data is in deduplicated form from the point of creation through to its final destination.
